Every single year, human beings about the earth produce about 882 billion kilos of plastic waste, and about 80 percent of it ends up in landfills or in the normal atmosphere. Now, researchers are starting to analyze the results of microplastics on persons, and it turns out that they are showing up in human poop right after contaminating our meals. Microplastics are the smallest particles of plastic squander — so smaller that most are invisible to the human eye.
